Waiting for the Last Exam

I am having the last exam of the 4th semester B.E of the famous( or notorious) VTU which is going to be held on 15th of July. Its the same exam that’s been postponed from 26th of June. Its a 5 day gap to study an exam of just 8 chapters( Actually it was a 10 day gap in which I’ve already wasted 5 days).

The thing is that I am not in a mood to study at all. And if I don’t start studying soon I’ll be having to study a lot in a very less time.

I had enough time to study if I had started from 5th itself but too obvious that I didn’t even touch the book.

I read a book today called ” 7 Mantras to Excel in Exams ” written by Prem.P.Bhalla and after reading it I am somewhat   “Motivated”( I don’t know what it mean….) and I” be starting to study from now itself.

HDL Exam in the All India Bandh

Today was my HDL Exam. Also today here was All India Bandh….. There were no buses in the morning from 5am itself. It became very difficult for me to come to college to write my exam.

If I meet the guy who had called for the Bandh I will ask him one question.. “What did you achieve from it?”. Well I know it was in protest of the Amarnath issue. That is why I started looking for Amarnath in the map of Mangalore….. And I found it!!!!! It was somewhere in Kashmir! Well, this is the problem in the places where BJP in power they call strikes for everything!!!!!

I wish I hadn’t voted for BJP a few days back……

GooD Signals from VTU

After a indications of a very tough paper VTU came out with a very easy paper today on Signals and Systems.

I had learnt 5 chapters including LTI systems 1 and 2, Z transforms 1 and 2 and Fundamentals……

These are probably the easiest of the chapters and Fourier 3 units I think is the most difficult thing.

The only one blunder I did in my paper was the the Z transform of  coswt I forgot to put the z^-n sign in the summation. Hence I lost 8 marks on that.

On the whole a very easy paper.

Control Systems became out of control

Today we had the Control Systems exam. A lengthy and a very difficult exam I had for a long long time( It was last sem when I had something like this when I had to write the FT exam).

I actually had a 3 days of holiday for this exam but still the history of VTU Difficult Control Systems Exam continues………

I have written answers for question upto 60 marks and hope I pass the exam.

Control Systems Exam

VTU Control Systems exam!!! If you are not a VTU Student then you won’t understand what exactly I mean.

It is one of the subjects most students cannot clear in a single attempt. Subject is easy and the topics are limited (from point of view of the text book prescribed by the VTU). But the exam papers are complicated and difficult to crack.

Why I am talking about it now? Because I am going to write the exam on Saturday. I just hope I clear it in the first attempt.

I am working really hard for it (wasting my time writing this blog entry). But it should be a nice experience. After the very good Engg Maths 4 exam, I am looking forward for a challenge.
