Hottest Newdude

Today’s news from IBN Live shows that there are Hottest Newcomers in Bollywood this year.

The six newcomers who were in the running for their smashing debuts were:

  • Imran Khan
  • Ranbir Kapoor
  • Neil Nitin Mukesh
  • Harman Baweja
  • Rajeev Khandelwal
  • Sikander Kher

Imran Khan received rave reviews for his performance in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and a record opening at the box office.

Ranbir Kapoor might not have had a dream debut with Saawariya but his clean, good looks and his impish smile have the filmmakers lining up.

Legendary singer Mukesh’s grandson, Neil Nitin Mukesh signed up for an unconventional debut and though Johnny Gaddar didn’t rock the box office, the youngster made quite an impact and is ready to swim against the tide if need be.

Harman Baweja has been dubbed as a Hrithik Roshan clone and his Rs 50 crore debut, Love Story 2050, did not make the right impact. But with filmmakers like Ashutosh Gowariker and Sanjay Leela Bhansali swearing by him, here is a star to watch out for.

Rajeev Khandelwal defied critics and made the switch from small screen to the silver screen with his debut Aamir and received rave reviews for his performance.

With his unconventional good looks and style, Sikander Kher made a creditable debut with Woodstock Villa. His next movie, Summer of 2007 may not be very hot, but he has surely arrived.

My Comment : Its not their charm thats worked actually.

Imran Khan , Ranbhir Kapoor, Neil Nitin, Harman, Sikander…. All of them are sons( nephew in case of Imraan Khan ) of celebrities and some of them surely rose to this level not because of their acting skills but to because of the tremendous attention given by the media.

154 3 26 Imran Had his uncle Aamir who was the producer of Jane Tu… itself.

Ranbhir Kapoor is the son of Rishi Kapoor and Deepika’s Boyfriend( I can’t tell who is more important Deepika or Rishi).

Neil Nitin is the guy whom I don’t know much about ( Just like evryone else I have not watched Johnny Gaddar).

Harman Baweja is a Hrithik lookalike and Harry Baweja’s Son. ( I wish instead of Hrithik’s looks he had got Hrithik’s acting skills.)

Not much to say about Rajeev Khandelwal except the fact that most of his fans are the ones who watched Kahin To Hoga and Left Right Left.

Sikander is Anupan Kher’s son and looks a lot like an ugly apeman. If he’s hot… Then I’m King Khan.

That probably proves my point , I guess. So which one among these you find hottest. Please reply.

Interesting Post

Just read this post on Givv Up.

This author sees the Projection of Power in the movie Jaane Tu.. Ya Jane Na.

Comments 1 , 2 and 3 were really harsh, but I think one should appreciate the observation made by the guy.

King Of Blunder

Noida police have been setting high standards in Aarushi case. When the case was handed over to the CBI, even they set standards by making loads of blunders from their part.( These guys will finish second even if they are the only ones running the race.)

Someone else are keeping up with them and they are the Great Indian News Media. From making fake mms to telling false stories, these guys worked a hand in glove with the with the Noida police and CBI in crucifying Rajesh Talwar and almost succeeding in doing it.

Loads are stories have been heard and loads of stories are yet to be heard. It looks the the blunders never stop.

Celebrity Blogs are always like that I guess

I read a post from Karan Johar’s blog and I made me wonder what is the point that this guy is making…

I don’t know what he thinks he is but I think in a blog one has to pen down his thoughts or opinions rather than what the whole film community thinks. Its just like me thinking on your behalf.

Most of the celebrities ( including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and almost all others) do the same thing. They think they lead a perfect life making no mistakes and having only the right and the best opinion. But they forget the fact that even they can make mistakes just like any other common man.

Ram Gopal Varma takes it a step further. I actually liked his style when he criticized the critics in his blog. But later when he started making fun of his fans ( afterall these guys paid money to watch Ramu’s film) and this made me feel disgusted.

Celebrities are probably always like that. I still read all of their blogs even some of them I even hate to look at.

But until now even he didn’t have the great philosophies like the rest of them Karan Johar’s blog I think is somewhat good ( atleast till now he has not used it to attack other people). And the rest I think are a bunch of losers thinking they are just about perfect.
