My favorite Firefox Theme

One of my favorite Firefox theme is Nasa Night Launch. I like this theme very much because of the black look it has which is kind of unique from the other black themes like Pitch dark and Redshift(firefox 2 only).

Other favourite addons include Walnut ,Noia 2.0 extreme.

Upgraded to Firefox 3.0

After a long wait I have finally upgraded my firefox and switched to version 3.0.

Almost all the addons I use are now working fine with Firefox 3 and I am happy with its working.

Firefox 3 supports .mht format

Actually Firefox 3 still does not support the.mht format but there is an addon called Unmht that can help to save the webpages in the .mht ( webarchive) Format.

I was using the Mozilla Archive Format is the Firefox 2 but when Firefox 3 was relesed I decided to stay in Firefox 2 since I did not have a supported webarchive addon. ( Also there were some other addons which were not compatible ).

I first found out about this addon on the Digital Inspiration and in this post.

Scribefire Updated again with more major fixes.

Latest version of the Scribefire is available for download.

Lot of bug fixes have taken place in this version mainly the Delicious Bookmarks auto-login feature which had several problems is fixed in this version.

Also I had a lot of confusion about the enable ping thing which when checked options were not not visible and when unchecked options were visible. Even that is fixed in this issue.

Image width limitation preference is also added.

Delicious Bookmarks Addon For Firefox

I got its very good addon that was delicious Bookmarks addon for Firefox which was very good. Previously I was using Scribefire for the Delicious Bookmarking but a bug in it forced me to switch to a new addon. Not only adding bookmarks but viewing them and sorting the tags is also an easy process now.

Firefox 3…When will the addons be ready????

I tried switching to Firefox 3 but still no updates for two addons namely

Tab Mix Plus and Febe.

The version of Febe that was designed for Firefox 3 is in beta and has loads of bugs. I just hope that the addons will be updated soon and I can switch to Firefox 3 very soon.

Mozilla Archive Format…. A lost addon

I am thinking of switching from Firefox v2.0.0.14 to Firefox v3 since almost all the addons are updated and those which are not are going to be updated soon.

One addon that I’m going to miss is the Mozilla Archive Format. It is an addon which gives the .mht format support as well as the .maf support , both are used for saving a web page as a web archive format.

Actually this addon support was only available for the Mozilla Firefox v1.5 but some geek altered compatibility of the addon to Firefox version 2. So the addon is working perfectly till now and if I upgrade to firefox 3 this addon will stop working. Unless someone can alter the compatibility and extend it to Firefox version 3.

Can someone help me with this ? Please comment…….

Update: A new addon is available in Firefox 3 for saving files in .mht format.
