Scribefire v2.0…… Its really fired up!!!!!!

I installed the new version of the scribefire addon and its damn good. All the features which were not in the previous versions were added.
The editing Timestamp option which was made available for firefox 3 is now made available for Firefox 2 also.
One more much noticeable feature is the manual pings. Now you don’t have to use pinging sites to like pingomatic or Pingo-At for pinging. So its great new changes noticed in Scribefire also the bookmarking and sharing with social bookmarking sites like stumble,digg,newsvine,digg etc is also good.
A blogeditor which comes integrated with a browser as an addon is a very good idea itself. I used to work with windows livewriter a lot due to the timestamp problems with Scribefire.
Now since thats solved I’m switching back to the easy-to-use Scribefire totally.

New Firefox Theme ( Blue Ice)

Installed theme called Blueice for firefox. Gives a very decent look fir it. Try it out here.

3 days and 120 MB

My broadband plan is 250 in which I get 1GB of bandwidth usage for 250 rupees for a month.
So this time I have only 120MB left at the end of the month and still 3 days to go. I hope it doesn’t get excess.
This time since my sister has got her summer holidays the usage is more. Otherwise always I’d have had a 100 , 200 MB at the end of the month.

Qumana

I’m posting this post using Qumana Blog Editor. It is a very good blog editor and can be a very good tool for those who like the easiness of posting using ScribeFire and the editing posting time feature of Microsoft Windows LiveWriter.

I liked it very much and I would recommend it since it id a very easy to use blogging tool. Also one can add links or images using droppad option of the Software.

Another important feature is that you can put ads into your post since it has an integrated Q-Ads option.

Another Change Of Antivirus

This time its only for testing purposes only.
I’ve decided to test the premium version of Anti-Vir premium Edition v8.1.
I got a free testing key from Anti-Vir Websit itself so after a long time I am using a legal software.
I downloaded it from a torrent from Pirate Bay and then got the 6 months testing license from here.
I’ll keep posting about the latest results of the test.

Installed and Updated Avast Antivirus Professional

I just installed and updated Avast Antivirus Professional v4.8 since The Eset Smart Security Patch did not work. Avast do not provide firewall with its service hence I had to install ZoneAlarm Personal Firewall for that.
Now its ok and working proper for the time being.
I always end up with Avast after moving through a bunch of antivirus softwares I found that all the antivirus softwares are the same. It does not make any difference which software you are using since the response of the antivirus software is not the same while removing the viruses.
When I ended up being a victim of the avpo.exe\amvo.exe a pen drive virus which I got froma friends pen drive. I tried all the antivirus softwares but sice it was a worm and not a virus its removal became impossible in not only the avst antivirus but also other products too.
This made me realise that viruses can only be prevented from proper settings of the windows as well as taking careful precautions to see that there is no infection at all.

A Good Thought

I found this one from Amit Varma’s India Uncut and I liked it very much.

There are four ways in which you can spend money. You can spend your own money on yourself. When you do that, why then you really watch out what you’re doing, and you try to get the most for your money. Then you can spend your own money on somebody else. For example, I buy a birthday present for someone. Well, then I’m not so careful about the content of the present, but I’m very careful about the cost. Then, I can spend somebody else’s money on myself. And if I spend somebody else’s money on myself, then I’m sure going to have a good lunch! Finally, I can spend somebody else’s money on somebody else. And if I spend somebody else’s money on somebody else, I’m not concerned about how much it is, and I’m not concerned about what I get. And that’s government.

Damn… The Smart Security Update Failed

The Patch that I used to Update the versioon of ESET Smart Security Failed…. So should think of a new antivirus software. I think I’ll settle with Avast for a while till I get any other decent antivirus software which is more efficient and also updatetable.
I have to find a firewall too that protects me from the spyware and also the hackers in the Net( which Smart Security readily Provided)…. So have a job to do now.

Eset Smart Security

I’ve been using ESET Smart Security 3.0.642 and its working really great.
I didn’t like the Firewall in the beginning but its giving an Ok performance ( far better than the antivirus softwares which I was using Previously).
